Crowns refer to the teeth restoration utilizing materials that are fabricated
by indirect methods which are cemented into place. Crowns are used to cap or
cover the tooth to restore its shape, size and strength, and to improve its
appearance.
When crowns are cemented into place, the entire visible portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line is fully encased.
Unfortunately, the traditional crowns placed today result in flat-looking
teeth that are not natural in appearance. Porcelain-metal crowns leave a dark
or gray line next to the gum line.
Our team of talented cosmetic dentists is proud to offer you a natural looking
solution: all-ceramic, non-metal crowns!
These newer restorations will not produce the dark gum line; instead they
will give your teeth the life-like appearance that is very similar to the
way natural teeth look.
